Yes there was a.1 mile on the end and I'll take credit for it all!!! Came up with every excuse in the house to put off my run this moring, but I prevailed and got it done early. I'm sure it would have happened but it wouldn't have been as long and it would have ruined my morning nagging and feeling guilty about it. One of the reasons that I wanted to run later is to get some cleaning done. The other night and the past few days some of the girls I work with have been telling me about the lady they have come and clean their homes. One girl just started having someone come and went on and on about how they did such a great job and this and that they cleaned the llight fixtures the trash cans and everything in between, yada yada yada..... so I at first was a llittle jealous and then just decided I wanted my house to feel like that, so I went to town yesterday! When my husband got home last night he very calmly after about a half hour or so asked me to step away from the sink and put the rag down!! But what I did get done felt so good that I'm ready to get after it again today. Who needs a maid when I can get motivation from someone who has one and save my money for something much funner!!! The disclamer here is that I'm not a slob and really had a clean house to begin with but I am loving the extra push to get some things done that I don't routinely do. So now I'm going to check my temperature with that said because I just admitted that I would rather stay home and clean than get out and run? Oh and I've decided to take the plunge. No more sugar or white flour untill Sat. I know it's not much of a commitment but maybe it will lead to bigger things.

Callzee and I did another mile before I got ready for work when she got home for school.  Tonight should be the BIG test as far as the food goes.  There is no where worse than a hospital at night for temptation and snacks to derail my plan!  So here I go!

Yea! Good job with the no sugar and the cleaning! If you finish up with your house and still want to clean, you should come down to my house! I'm glad you are going to try the no sugar thing. I was feeling a little frustrated about it, and got on the blog for motivation. You are it!

James cell is (480) 648-6623. We'll call you when we get close.

Great job on the morning run! It's amazing how creative our minds get when we are trying to think of excuses not to do something! What is the cut back of sugar and white flour supposed to do? I only recently joined, so I think I missed some background!

Michelle! Congratulations on a 6 mile run!!!

I keep posting comments on your blog on Saturdays. Will you pretty please check out my comment from last Saturday (Sept 29)? And if you don't want to talk to me about my comments, that's okay. We'll still be friends--I hope.

But I was wondering if you have any tips for mopping? Do you get on your hands and knees or use a real mop or use a Swiffer-moppy-thing? My mopping skills are lacking.

Lorenzpu: Sasha never eats white flour or sugar and he says it has helped him become a lot faster (along with a really really really healthy diet in other ways and 120 miles a week). I decided to try no sugar or white flour for just one week because this old lady asked me if I was pregnant at church and I wanted to loose that "glow", which as we all know is a code word for chub. I challenged anybody else who feels the inclination to try it too.

Good job on the cleaning! I did a crazy cleaning last week and now I'm going nuts that things are getting messy again. It didn't help when Clyde brought a deer in to cut up! This weekend will be fun! Bring whatever you want, a salad of some sort or bread or a dessert...whatever! Good job getting out today too...I still haven't done that yet!

Congrats on the great mileage today. Also, you'll be happy you did the no sugar no white flour. Decide you won't do it for this week and don't give in to the temptation. It will get better. The first three days are the worst. I promise. Take care.

I'm impressed you're going to do the no sugar/white flour challenge! That's awesome!!! So, I must've missed it somewhere - I thought you weren't running in the SGM, but I noticed that you're going. Do you live close enough that you want to meet other bloggers or are you cheering on a friend?? I'm jealous, actually. It sounds like it's going to be fun to meet everyone. (Although I'm NOT jealous that there's a marathon involved. ha!)
