Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

good job getting out and getting a couple of miles. Some days tough like today. Keep bringing up the miles 10% a week and you will be at 25 in no time.

Hey- we will bring some shoes up today. My parents are coming with us, but in a different car, so we were actually wondering if we could leave our car at your house for the weekend? Then we would just hop in with my parents over to Torrey. We are leaving here about 2-2:30 and would go straight to Richfield. We could drop the shoes off if you will be home. Anyway, let me know if that will work!

Good luck on your 5k! Is it tomorrow? Which one is it? Just have fun, try to remember that's why we do this fun sport (isn't it?) Well, that and trying to fit into our jeans! (it lets us eat ice cream right?) I'll be thinking of you while I'm in Richfield tomorrow...

Your definately right, (about the jeans and ice cream)... And there are those days when it is so worth it and it feels great! today just wasn't one of them! But there is always tomorrow, and inspiration from people that run 12 miles!!!
