Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

So this mornings run was YUCK!!! It was the slowest 3 miles I think I've ever ran, but I felt like I was really working. I was so disappointed when I saw my time when I got home. Well I'm still on for Sat. but I may really need the tow rope!!!! I have to go to Provo for meetings again today, maybe I'll get a mile with Callzee tonight. Maybe my Ipod needs to be re-calibrated. We did hurry last night but last nights 9:07 mile and then todays oh so slow miles are making me wonder???

One mile tonight with Callzee. I timed us with a watch to compare to the ipod. Yes last night and tonight were that fast, and this morning I was that slow. If that kid gets too much faster, she is going to have to find a new running partner. That or we are going to have to do longer runs so I can wear her out faster to slow her down a bit! The interesting thing about the mile we have done the last 2 nights is that it starts up hill, then down a little and the last half is up hill again. Just a little bit, but it's not the easiest mile I could find. Time to go back to the track and do a timed run there.

Don't worry- you don't need to go fast Sat. for me, that's for sure! I'm sure tomorrow or tonights run will be better for ya. Put some new tunes on the IPOD, that always helps me...

You probably were working really hard. It could be the cooler mornings. Or that your tight in the mornings. Try not to worry, the speed will come back.

The most important thing is that you got up, got out, and got 'er done!

It was nice to meet you last weekend. I ran a race down your way once, I think it was in Monroe(Milk Run). I was wondering if it still existed?
