Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

Today I did yesterdays run backwards. I think I like it that way better. I felt pretty good today, I wore gloves so the hands didn't freeze off, and I was a little more rested. A few hours of sleep when the moon is up makes all the difference for me, even if it's not for very long! I was a little disapointed when I got home and my ipod said the distance was only 5.88 and that my pace was 15 secs. slower. It was the exact same run and I felt sooo much better today. The over all running time was about 2 mins faster and so I'm going to disregaurd what it said and say it must be having technical difficulties today. Well I'm off to try and and get ready to go, we are leaving for SLC around 4:30 and fly out tomorrow! Aloha everyone!

Omigosh! Have a great trip! You totally deserve it, you hard working chica! Hope your fascia appreciate the rest and stop buggin you.

I'm half tempted to call you up about your health related "expertise"...it's a very frustrating problem, isn't it? Not really the kind of stuff I would want to talk about on a public blog, but I am vey open to suggestions! lybi@cox.net Oh, and I am terrrrrrible about checking my email. So if I don't reply for a month, don't take it personally!

Did you want the name right now? I just started a poll on the discussion forum, but if I had to choose one right now (that wouldn't ostracize Clyde) I'd go with "PR Hunters on the Prowl".

Are you letting guys from the blog get in on the lottery? I think Tom would be interested if he's allowed.

From Michelle on Tue, Oct 23, 2007 at 17:37:40

Kim, I think that we could let anyone that wants too. There are only 10 people per team, if the team gets in then we all do. So we may have to do 2 different teams if there are more than 10. We will just have to hope they both get in. That would be a bummer if one did and one didn't. There is also a 5k that you could do also and you can still sign up as on our team for that. The more the merrier, the fast running blog can take over, and we can have another great pre-race party. Just no post race accidents! You guys work out the names and I'll submit it when I get home.

Enjoy Hawaii! Which island are you going to? I've been to Oahu. The trip was more like a business trip. I'd like to go and just hang out at the beach and eat macadamia nuts. I'd like to visit the big island, Kauai, and Maui some day.

From Shauna on Tue, Oct 23, 2007 at 22:22:33

Have fun in Hawaii! I bet you'll miss the blog, though. :-)

I went to Maui when I was 15. I yelled at my brother and got grounded for a day while my family hiked in the jungle. It's time to go back and make some new memories! Have a ball!

OK Ok! Will you come home already?! Geez, how long does it take to see Hawaii? You see one island you've seen them all. (JK--jealous.)

Names for the Moab half: 1) Fast Running Bloggers Anonymous 2)Half Crazy, 100% Dedicated. I did 2 in case we have more than 10 who register. I had to go gender neutral bc some people want to run it with their hubbies. Lots of hubbies on this blog. But otherwise I would've gone with Dashing Divas.
