Two miles on the treadmill.  Not my favorite, should go farther but get a little bored.

I've heard of some people taping their favorite shows to watch while one the treadmill and then it becomes a treat for them...

I've been running for awhile now and have noticed that I actually enjoy being a little bored during my run....it's relaxing.

2 miles on the treadmill is a lot better than no miles at all. Our celebration yeasterday came after the run was over and I knew I didn't have to run again that day and that my long run was done for the week.

I agree with Clyde here - 2 miles is better than a zero. Sometimes you do have to cut the run short. However, being bored should never be the reason. Distances half-marathon and over are very unforgiving. They know no mercy and take no excuses. If you have obeyed the laws of fitness, they obey you, but if you have been cutting your runs short or skipping them altogether, the punishment is severe and ruthless.

Michelle, stay positive about your running, one step at a time. One ocmment to note, I find it beneficial when coming back to running from being off due to an injury or some other reason, to allow myself a break or two during the run. A break may give give you enough get up and go for going the extra mile.
